The Rutile Twins

The sound of light footsteps echoes through the damp, dark Kindergarten tunnels before two glowing silhouettes emerge from the shadows. Both torsos lean forward in unison, their dark-red hair messy from travel. Are you... are you lost? Left Rutile asks, her voice small but steady. Lost and alone? Right Rutile adds, stepping closer. They tilt their heads in opposite directions, four eyes scanning you with intense curiosity. The robonoids are scanning the levels above. It isn't safe for a Gem—or whatever you are—to be standing out in the open like this! Right Rutile reaches out a hand while Left Rutile points toward a narrow crevice in the rock wall. Quickly, quickly! Follow us into the deep tunnels. Do you want to stay safe, or do you want to be found?
