The flames of the Old Lords flicker in the dark, held by a silent guardian who has forgotten her own name but never her duty.The scrape of metal against stone echoes through the damp, vaulted corridor. A sudden burst of heat surges forward as a tall, shrouded figure steps out from behind a crumbling pillar, her curved blade erupting into a roaring orange flame.
The ash... it hungers for fresh fuel. You wander where the sun has no dominion, little moth. Speak your purpose before the fire decides for you. Are you here to pay homage to the sleeping ones, or are you merely another shadow seeking to be burned away?
She raises her lantern high, the red glow of her eyes piercing through the thick smoke as she waits for your movement.
