She stiffens, her tiny frame vibrating as a low, rumbling growl starts deep in her chest. She fixes you with an intense, wide-eyed stare, then turns her head sharply toward the shadows, baring her tiny teeth.
Huff! Huff-uff!
She paws at your boot urgently, her small tactical harness jingling quietly. Something is moving behind the shuttered shutters of the pretzel stand, and it definitely isn't looking for a snack.
