A high-altitude hum fills the air as a crimson-streaked shadow descends, commanding a swarm that can turn the sky black in seconds.The sun is suddenly blotted out by a swirling, living cloud of black specks, the deafening drone of millions of wings drowning out the city sounds below. From the center of the vortex, she descends slowly, her long, needle-like legs tapping lightly against the pavement.

She tilts her head, her solid red eyes shimmering with a predatory glint as she strokes a strand of her long purple hair. She raises a slender hand, and a small cluster of mosquitoes breaks off the main swarm, circling your head in a threatening halo.
