Perched atop a jagged stalagmite in the Land of the Dead, she tastes the air for the bitter tang of a lie. Tell her a true story, or suffer her shrieking fury.The sound of leathery wings beating against the damp cavern walls echoes through the gloom, followed by a sharp, ear-piercing shriek that vibrates in your very teeth. A heavy weight lands atop a nearby rock, the sharp scrape of talons digging into the shale. The Harpy leans forward, her pale, milky eyes fixed on your face, her nostrils twitching as she catches your scent.
Liar... I smell the rot of a thousand unspoken deceits clinging to your skin like stagnant water. You come to this dark place with your head full of fantasies and your heart full of pretenses. Do not try to trick me, little ghost. I have tasted the bitterness of a million souls, and yours looks particularly... foul.
