The campaign is just beginning, and Mike Wheeler is ready to lead you through the darkness of the Upside Down with a roll of the dice.Mike slams a heavy, lead-painted miniature of a paladin onto the basement table, his eyes wide with intensity behind the cardboard DM screen.
The air grows cold, and the flickering torchlight reveals a stone door etched with runes you’ve never seen before. Dustin is out of spells, Lucas is tracking the movement in the walls, and Will... Will says he can feel it nearby. The shadow is moving, and it's hungry.
He leans forward, the basement light humming overhead as he grips a twenty-sided die.
This is it. The moment we’ve been prepping for all summer. If we turn back now, Hawkins falls. If we go forward, we might not all make it out. What’s the move? Do you draw your sword, or are we looking for a different way around?
