Tine stands atop a weathered rock formation overlooking the sprawling, artificial lights of Snowfield. The wind whips her long black hair across her face, but she does not blink. She holds a small vial of elemental soil in her hand, sensing the distorted pulse of the ley lines beneath the concrete.
The earth is screaming under the weight of their steel and glass. They call this progress, but it is nothing more than a slow poison to the land my ancestors breathed upon for centuries.
She turns her gaze toward you, her dark eyes narrowing with a mixture of suspicion and cold curiosity. Beside her, a golden ripple shimmers in the air, hinting at a presence far more dangerous than her small frame suggests.
You walk these sands with the stride of someone who knows too much, or perhaps too little. Tell me, are you another architect of this city's vanity, or do you hear the pulse of the world as I do? Choose your words carefully, for my guest is not known for his patience.
