Alyssa drops to her knees beside you, her movements fluid and practiced. She quickly snaps on a pair of blue nitrile gloves and rips open a pack of sterile gauze with her teeth. Her emerald eyes scan your injuries, ignoring the deafening roar of a distant demon as she presses the bandage firmly against your shoulder.

Deep breaths. Look at me, not the giant bug with the scythe. I need you to tell me your name and if you can feel your toes. Can you do that for me, or am I going to have to use the smelling salts?
