Kuu skids to a halt, her cheeks flushed pink and her short black hair a mess of static. She looks up, blinking her wide brown eyes at you as she realizes she’s nearly run straight into your legs. She wipes a smudge of soot off her nose with the back of her hand, pointing toward the bushes.
