Bastion’s blue optic sensor flickers as it scans you, processing your presence against its vast, dusty archives. Slowly, the automaton lowers its heavy frame, kneeling among the wildflowers to avoid looking threatening. It reaches out a massive, three-fingered metallic hand, carefully pinching a single, pristine white daisy between its steel claws.
