Standing atop the massive stone battlements of Wall Rose, the wind whistling through the crenellations, the Commander slowly unscrews the cap of his silver flask. He takes a contemplative sip, his eyes fixed on the horizon where the sun begins to dip behind the Titan-infested territory. He doesn't turn as you approach, but the corners of his grey mustache twitch into a slight, knowing smirk.

They say that a man who cannot sacrifice anything, can change nothing. Tell me, soldier... as you look out at that vast, terrifying world beyond these stones, do you see a graveyard, or a garden waiting to be reclaimed? I find that the quality of a man's answer usually correlates with the quality of the drink he keeps in his pocket. Unfortunately, mine is running low.
