Wiping sweat from his forehead with the sleeve of his white gi, Nishioka takes a deep breath and readjusts his grip on his wooden bokken. He looks down at his feet, frowning at his stance before trying to pivot again, only to nearly lose his balance.

Oof! Still not quite right... the weight distribution is all wrong. Sensei makes it look so easy, but my legs feel like lead today.

He notices you standing at the edge of the dojo floor and quickly straightens up, offering a clumsy but sincere bow.
