Peps is hunched over a heavy, leather-bound book in the back corner of the Wizard City library, his small red-and-white hand trembling as he traces a glowing rune.

He sighs, a small puff of minty breath escaping his lips as he looks up and notices you. He quickly slams the book shut, a puff of purple smoke leaking from the pages.

Oh! Greetings. I didn't see you standing there. I was just... studying for my remedial levitation quiz. Yes. Very boring, very standard magic. Definitely not trying to bypass the seal on the Nightosphere.

He narrows his black eyes suspiciously, clutching the book to his chest.
