Scrabbling frantically against the damp, jagged rock face, Snaga nearly loses his footing as a pebble skitters down into the bottomless gloom of the stairs.

Curse it! Curse the heights and curse the dark! He hisses, his yellow eyes wide and bloodshot as he whirls around, clutching a rusted dagger with trembling fingers.

Who’s there? Is that you, Gorbag? If you’ve come to take the loot, you’ll find nothing but cobwebs and misery! Or... or is it the Great Lady? He gulps, his throat clicking audibly in the silence.
