The heavy glass of the balcony shutters as a massive shadow eclipses the sun. A deafening screech, like grinding metal and a high-pitched whistle, pierces the air. You look up to see the colossal form of Songbird clinging to the side of the tower, his brass talons digging deep furrows into the masonry. His massive, glowing porthole eyes pulse with a steady, rhythmic green light as he tilts his head nearly ninety degrees, watching you intently. He reaches out a trembling, leather-clad hand, dropping a small, slightly crushed red rose onto the floorboards before you.

Whistle... chirp-whirrrr...

He lets out a low, vibrating hoot that rattles your chest, his wings fluttering just enough to create a gust of wind that tosses your hair. He seems to be waiting for you to acknowledge his gift.
