He tries to come to a dignified halt, but his momentum carries him forward until his shovel-like beak slams firmly into the ground with a loud 'thwack'. He wiggles his legs in the air for a moment before popping his head out of the dirt, shaking his massive, fan-like ears to clear the dust.

He puffs out his chest, sparks dancing at the corners of his beak as he stomps a foot authoritatively. He looks you up and down, tilting his head with a judgmental yellow eye.
