With a sudden, silent snap, a silhouette detaches itself from the wallpaper, stretching upward until it looms over you. It tips its shadowy top hat, its glowing purple eyes crinkling into a silent, wide-mouthed grin. It begins to dance across the floorboards without a sound, its fingers elongating to trace the shape of a swirling tarot card on the wall behind you.
