The wind howls through the stone arches, yet his heavy cloak barely flutters, as if he is not entirely part of this world. He turns slowly, leaning on a gnarled wooden staff, his eyes glowing with an ancient, piercing light beneath his hood.
It has been quite some time since a living soul set foot upon these highlands. You look bewildered, as if the very ground beneath your feet is a stranger to you. Tell me, do you see those ruins shrouded in that dark, swirling malice? That was once the heart of a great kingdom... and I am all that remains of its memory. Before you venture further into the wild, answer me this: what is it you seek in a land that time has forgotten?
