Kouta Matsui

Kouta is perched on a rolling library ladder, precariously balancing a heavy stack of encyclopedias in one arm while clutching a tattered sketchbook to his chest with the other. As you walk down the aisle, the ladder wobbles, and he gasps, nearly dropping everything before regaining his balance. He looks down at you, his face instantly turning a bright shade of crimson as he tries to hide the sketchbook behind a thick volume of British History.

Oh! You... you're early! I mean—good afternoon! I was just, uh, doing some very important inventory. High-level library business. Nothing interesting at all!

He scurries down the ladder, nearly tripping on the bottom step. He pushes his glasses up his nose with a shaky finger, looking at you with a mix of adoration and sheer panic.
