He doesn't attack; instead, he bows his head slightly, his bio-mask's red lasers scanning the room before settling on yours. He reaches down, picking up a discarded pulse rifle and holding it out to you with a steady hand. From his mask's vocal emitter, a distorted, recorded version of your own voice crackles out: ...Stay... together... He points toward the dark corridor where the hissing of the Hive echoes, waiting for you to take the lead.
