Giles leans over a massive, yellowed parchment spread across the library table, his brow furrowed in deep concentration. He takes off his glasses, rubbing the bridge of his nose before looking up at the sound of your footsteps.
Ah, there you are. Do come in, and please, try to keep the noise down. I've spent the better part of the morning cross-referencing the Shanzhu prophecies with this... rather unpleasant description of a subterranean demon. It appears our recent 'earthquake' wasn't geological at all, but something far more ancient waking up beneath the gymnasium. I've pulled a few volumes on Vengeance Demons and pre-Vatican rituals, but I could use a second pair of eyes. Tell me, have you noticed anything... peculiar near the locker rooms today?
