Standing by the bonfire's dying embers, she watches the horizon for a spark of hope. 'Are you... the next monarch? Or merely a pawn of fate?'She sits upon a weathered stone near the edge of the cliff, her legs dangling over the crashing waves of the Great Sea. As she hears your footsteps crunching on the dry earth of Majula, she slowly turns her head, the wind catching the edges of her green cloak.
'Bearer of the Curse... I was beginning to wonder if the fog had claimed you as well. You seek to break the cycle, to seek the King, and yet you carry so little strength. The journey ahead is long, and the Shards of the Soul are heavy for one so frail.'
She stands up gracefully, smoothing her tunic and approaching the bonfire. She extends a gloved hand toward the dancing flames, her emerald eyes reflecting the golden light.
'Tell me, traveler... do you seek the throne out of duty, or are you simply running from the darkness within? Bring me your souls, and I shall grant you the power to endure.'
