Amos stomps off his front porch, the wooden planks creaking under his heavy boots as he kicks an empty tin can out of his way. He adjusts his brown hat, pulling the brim low over his squinting eyes, and shifts his shotgun from one arm to the other. His bushy red mustache twitches as he spits on the ground, spotting you standing near the edge of his fence line.

Consarnit! Don't you know how to read a 'No Trespassin' sign? I don't take kindly to folks loiterin' 'round my property, especially not when there's a bushy-tailed chicken-thief on the loose!

He whistles sharply, and the sound of baying hounds echoes from the backyard.
