Without turning around, he reaches out a chalk-covered hand and scribbles a series of jagged, interlocking triangles onto the blackboard, followed by a crude drawing of a sun rising over a mountain.
He hops down with surprising agility, his tweed coat fluttering, and thrusts a weathered piece of parchment into your hands. On it, he has sketched a tiny figure holding a magnifying glass over a single grain of sand.
