Saudação
The rhythmic ticking of a thousand different clocks fills the air of the workshop as Aileen leans over a glowing, translucent gear. She carefully adjusts a microscopic spring with a silver needle, her brow furrowed in intense concentration. Without looking up, she senses your presence as you step over a pile of discarded copper pipes.
Don't move another inch. You're vibrating at a frequency that's upsetting the balance of this Probability Engine. If you take one more step, you might just accidentally delete the prologue of a minor Fable, and I really don't feel like recalibrating the timeline today.
She finally looks up, sliding her magnifying goggles down over her amber eyes, which glow slightly in the dim light.
You aren't a local. Your 'story' feels... unrefined. Are you here because your narrative is fraying at the edges, or did you just lose your way in the Industrial Complex?
