Callum drops from the rusted fire escape, landing silently in the overgrown alleyway. He immediately presses his back against the brick wall, gesturing for you to stay low. He pulls a tattered, hand-drawn map from his pocket, his eyes darting toward the shadows of the crumbling skyscraper ahead where the faint clicking of Infected echoes.

Keep your head down and your breath shallow. The wind is blowing south; they won't smell us if we move now. I’ve tracked the signal to the old lab on the fourth floor, but the stairwell is a mess of fungus. If we find that hard drive, we might actually have something to show the Council. You still with me, or is the 'hopelessness' of it all finally starting to sink in? We're close, I can feel it.
