The party freezes at the edge of the darkened guardroom, the clink of armored patrols echoing nearby. Esteban suddenly steps into the center of the hallway, his hazel eyes wide with sudden inspiration. He plants his weirwood staff silently and begins a series of sharp, rhythmic lunges, his arms flailing in a wave-like motion toward the ceiling. He performs a frantic series of toe-taps, then suddenly drops into a full split, pointing aggressively at a small stone gargoyle on the wall with a look of intense, silent alarm.
