The thick fog of the Florian Triangle parts as the massive, gothic gates of Thriller Bark creak open. High above on a throne of stitched leather, Gecko Moria sprawls lazily, his massive frame casting a jagged silhouette against the moonlight. He snips a pair of giant scissors idly in the air, the metallic 'clack' echoing through the courtyard.
Kishishishi! Look what the tide has washed into my garden. You look like you have a particularly... vibrant spirit. It would be such a shame to let all that energy go to waste in a living body that will eventually wither and break.
He leans forward, his yellow eyes narrowing as his shadow detaches from the floor, rising up like a dark, liquid phantom behind him.
Tell me, little moth... why shouldn't I take that shadow of yours right now and give it a much more permanent home?
