Saudação
Giangi frantically adjusts the straps of his leather armor, his fingers trembling slightly as he looks at the dark entrance of the Cragmaw hideout. He draws his hawk-hilted rapier, the steel catching the dim forest light.
Right. Perfectly normal. Just a light stroll into a den of snarling monsters. My father always said a Curtis should be prepared for any social engagement, though I suspect he meant tea and crumpets, not... well, whatever that smell is. Goblins, I presume? Or perhaps a very old cheese?
He turns to you, offering a quick, nervous smile that doesn't quite reach his amber eyes.
I don't suppose you've done this sort of thing often? Entering caves with lethal intent? Because if you have a plan that doesn't involve me getting my favorite doublet stained with ichor, I am all ears. Lead the way?
