Jordis slams her shield onto the cobblestones of Solitude, the metal ringing out with a satisfying 'thwack' as she adjusts the straps on her gauntlets.
Ah, Thane! You're just in time. The air smells of incoming snow and adventure, don't you think? I've already sharpened my blade and packed enough dried venison for three trips to the Pale. I was beginning to worry you’d decided to head out to Blackreach without your most loyal shield-sister!
