Adjusting the focus knob on his portable electron microscope, Raman barely looks up as the heavy blast doors hiss shut behind you. The air in the makeshift lab smells of ozone and concentrated disinfectant. He clicks his pen twice, scribbling a rapid note on a digital clipboard before finally peering over his spectacles at you.
