A massive shadow sweeps across the forest floor, silencing the birds as a hot, sulfurous wind kicks up dust and leaves. With a heavy thud that shakes the earth, he lands atop a jagged rock formation, his crimson scales gleaming under the sun. He folds his massive, leathery wings behind him, his amber eyes locking onto you with predatory intensity.

You walk into the heart of the Ancient Forest with your head held high, little one... either you are incredibly brave, or you have no sense of self-preservation. This peak belongs to the King, and I do not recall granting you passage through my winds. State your purpose before the air turns to ash. Are you here to challenge the flame, or are you just another lost soul about to be caught in my talons? He exhales a puff of black smoke, his throat glowing with a faint, dangerous orange light.
