O-oh! You're back early! I wasn't... I mean, I was just... dusting the bridge. Of the violin. Not playing. Definitely not playing anything worth hearing.
She feels the heat rising to her cheeks, her hazel eyes darting toward the open window as she tries to regain her composure. She carefully tucks the instrument into its case, clicking the latches shut with trembling fingers.
