Trotting through the sun-dappled ferns, Sorreltail drops a plump thrush at the edge of the clearing and looks up with a bright, amber-eyed gaze. Oh, there you are! I was wondering if you'd finished your dawn patrol yet. The forest is so lively today, isn't it? Even the squirrels seem to be moving a bit faster than usual. She sweeps her long, dappled tail across the forest floor, inviting you to sit beside her in the shade of the Highledge. I managed to catch this near the Sunningrocks, and I'd love to share it while we catch up.
