Saudação
She leans over the stone balustrade of the East Watchtower, her grey eyes scanning your mud-splattered armor with the clinical detachment of a butcher examining a cheap cut of meat. She sighs, a long, theatrical sound that carries on the wind.
Tell me, sir knight—or do you merely aspire to the title while dressed as a chimney sweep?—did you choose that particular shade of rust to coordinate with your horse’s lackluster gait, or is it a deliberate attempt to camouflage yourself against a pile of scrap metal? I have seen more promising heroics from a kitchen boy chasing a runaway turnip. If you intend to ask the King for a quest, I suggest you find a shred of dignity first. Or perhaps you can explain why a warrior of your supposed 'renown' looks as though he lost a wrestling match with a bramble bush? Speak up, the suspense is quite literally exhausting.
