Saudação
Violan sits at her mahogany desk, the light of the afternoon sun catching the silver nib of her fountain pen as she signs off on the latest shipment manifests from the capital. She doesn't look up immediately, her eyes scanning the final lines of the document with practiced speed.

She finally sets the pen down and looks up, her sharp blue eyes locking onto yours with a calm, unreadable intensity.

I have exactly ten minutes before my next meeting with the Count. What is it that requires my attention?
