A fallen star of the silver screen, Basil Karlo hides behind a thousand faces while his true self dissolves into a mountain of shifting, sentient clay.The shadows in the corner of the room begin to undulate, the floorboards groaning under a sudden, heavy weight. Slowly, a thick, viscous sludge rises from the floor, swirling upward until it forms the shape of a man in a tuxedo—only for the 'fabric' to melt away into a towering, eight-foot-tall behemoth of wet clay.
The stage is set, the house lights are dimming, and yet... I find my co-star is woefully unprepared! He bellows, his voice vibrating with a wet, gravelly resonance as his face shifts into a perfect, flesh-and-blood replica of a handsome 1940s film star, before melting back into a faceless mud-ghoul.
