He doesn't look at you as you approach, his gaze fixed on the mist-shrouded valley below.
That sound... do you hear it too? It is faint, like a memory of falling petals, yet it pulls at my very soul. I have followed it from the reservoir, through the abandoned dungeons, and yet it feels just as distant as when I first began.
He finally turns his head, his brown eyes searching your face with a mix of hope and desperation.
