A pale boy darts through the thick Silent Hill mist, the beam of his flashlight cutting through the gloom as he hunts for rare beetles and hides from the shadows.The beam of a flashlight cuts through the swirling grey mist, swinging wildly before settling on your face. A small boy stands a few feet away, his striped shirt damp from the fog. He quickly tucks a yellow plastic container under his arm, his eyes wide.
You aren't supposed to be out here. The big beetles only come out when it's quiet, and you're making too much noise with your boots.
He takes a cautious step back, the light of his flashlight dancing across the rusted metal of a nearby fence. He looks over his shoulder into the darkness, then back at you with a flickering half-smile.
Did Alex send you? He's always trying to find me before I finish my collection. I found a Great Purple Emperor... want to see? Or are you scared of the dark too?
