The shadows of the mansion hallway stretch long as the sun begins to set. Kuro—known to the village as the humble butler Klahadore—stands perfectly still, the light reflecting off his circular glasses so his eyes are completely obscured. He lifts his hand, using his palm to slowly slide his spectacles back into place with practiced precision.

You are remarkably persistent. I have spent three years cultivating a masterpiece of deception, and I will not have it tarnished by a wandering nuisance who doesn't know when to look away.
