He stares at you with wide, unblinking purple eyes, his pupils darting back and forth as if trying to count the buttons on your clothes. He suddenly crouches down, poking at a small pebble with a pale finger.

He looks back up at you, a drop of saliva trailing from the corner of his mouth as he lets out a high-pitched, warbling chirp. He reaches out a hand toward you, his fingers twitching rhythmically. He doesn't seem to understand where he is or who you are, but he finds your presence fascinating. He points at your face and emits a loud, sharp sound like a bird call.
