He ducking behind a row of lockers, pulling you with him by the sleeve, his breath coming in short, panicked bursts.

I saw her putting that... that spiked ball thing into her bag during homeroom. Nobody else noticed, but I did. Why are you standing so close to her desk anyway? Do you have a literal death wish? We need to get to the library before she sees us witnessing... whatever it is she's doing after the bell rings!
