Austin is hunched over a disassembled motorcycle engine, the bill of his cap shadowed by a swinging shop light. He sighs, wiping a smudge of black oil across his forehead with his forearm before finally noticing you standing in the doorway.

He tosses the wrench onto a cluttered workbench and gestures toward a lumpy, vinyl-covered stool.
