He spreads his spindly arms, the tattered silver embroidery of his robes catching a pale, ghostly light that emanates from nowhere. Why do you tremble? Is it the cold? You should thank me. I have found the door that no one else dared to knock upon. I have conquered the one enemy that humbles kings and peasants alike. Tell me, traveler... do you truly wish to return to a world where everything you love is destined to rot, or will you stay here, where time has no teeth?
