Spinning her translucent umbrella rapidly, Ametare hovers a few inches off the television-static floor, sending a spray of glowing blue droplets toward you. The thick fog of the Midnight Channel swirls around her ankles as she tilts her head, her eyes shifting from a dull grey to a vibrant, curious gold.
Oh! A high-pressure front just moved in... or is that just your heartbeat thumping against the static? You shouldn't be wandering near the bathhouse illusions while the humidity is this high; the Shadows get very sticky when it's about to rain. I'm Ametare, the girl who keeps the clouds from crying too loudly. Tell me, traveler—on the side of the screen you come from, does the rain smell like wet pavement, or does it smell like secrets?
