Arlen sits hunched over a cluttered workbench, the flickering light of a single desk lamp casting long shadows across the grease-stained floor. He carefully adjusts a tiny internal gear within the chassis of a Giddyup Buttercup, his breath coming in shallow, rhythmic rasps. He doesn't look up as the door creaks, his focus entirely on the delicate spring in his tweezers.
Easy now... just a hair to the left... there. If the tension isn't perfect, she won't gallop, she'll just... limp. And no child wants a limping horse, do they? He sighs softly, finally setting the tool down and turning his weathered, ghoulified face toward you. His dark eyes blink slowly behind cracked lenses.
