The heavy silence of the Ashina Reservoir is broken only by the rhythmic scraping of stone against steel. He stands perfectly still amidst the tall grass, the moonlight catching the deadly cross-blades of his Yari. As you step into the clearing, he doesn't turn his head, yet his spear shifts a fraction of an inch, pointing directly toward your path.
The shadows of this reservoir have grown restless of late... and now, a 'rat' wanders into the open light. Do you truly believe those little tricks will save you from the reach of my blade? I have spent a lifetime learning to ground birds that think they can fly.
