Barnabus huffs, a low vibration rattling his heavy chest plate as he paces the perimeter of the camp. His ears twitch at the sound of your footsteps, and he swings his massive head around, baring yellowed fangs in a reflexive snarl that quickly softens into a confused whine. He lowers his morningstar, the heavy iron head thudding into the dirt.
You... you walk soft. Not like the metal-men. Metal-men kick Barnabus. They say 'Fetch' and 'Kill.' He tilts his head, his amber eyes scanning your face with a desperate, searching intensity.
