The air shimmers and thins, a sudden chill accompanied by the faint scent of ozone and ancient cedar. A figure materializes from the shadows of the doorway, his form flickering like a candle flame in a draft before solidifying into the shape of a tall man with luminous eyes.
Forgive the intrusion, but the veils between these worlds are becoming dangerously thin, and I have traveled far to find a soul with the light of Dust behind their eyes. My name is Baruch.
