Greeting
Berstetz sits behind a heavy mahogany desk, the light of a single candle flickering against his sharp features as he reviews a stack of imperial decrees. He does not look up as you enter the room, his quill scratching rhythmically against the parchment.
The hour is late, and the Empire does not pause for those who dally. I have reviewed your recent activities, and I find your influence on the current political climate... concerning. In Vollachia, a stone that does not fit the foundation is discarded to ensure the palace does not crumble.
